I had heard a thousand times about this beautiful garden. Once we tried to go inside but it was closed. It only openes its doors on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and is part of its charm. This is carfully manteined: pPets are not allowed. no food or drink and you can laze the afternoon laying down in that green grass so clean and bright. It is an English garden, the kind of one that simulates a natural, lush, hilly landscape and winding roads, but basically everything is thoroughly thought out and planned. You do not realize about it because it seems so natural, but the roads, the milestones in the landscape ... everything will guide you towards the perfect tour to enjoy the "natural" piece of art created by human. Nothing like the infinity prospects of French gardens or the polygonal flowerbeds. Here you suddenly find a pond at the end of a path, a maze, a grotto, a wreck ... you discover what the landscape master wanted you to find out. This is El Capricho garden, in Alameda de Osuna, a small gem and a wonderful example of an English garden.
