Ayer empezó el MFSHOW WOMEN en la Galería de Cristal del Palacio de Cibeles. Es uno de mis sitios favoritos en Madrid, y estupendo para hacer grandes eventos como este. Es un patio cubierto y acondicionado que te permite ver los desfiles con luz natural. Empezaron con las propuestas de los alumnos del ESNE. Como siempre me parecen increíbles los desfiles de que prepara la Escuela de Diseño. Es super especial verlo sabiendo que está hecho por estudiantes. Todo sigue una misma línea y un mismo tema dirigidos por Juan Duyos, pero cada uno aporta su visión y su propuesta. Es muy interesante además ver este desfile y luego el resto de diseñadores más consolidados. Además estuve esa mañana en el primer desfile de maquillaje. Maybelline presentaba sus propuestas en la pasarela y fue precioso ver como de repente la ropa dejaba de ser la protagonista. Había propuestas más sencillas y otras más arriesgadas, como veréis. Pestañas postizas, mariposas en la cara etc.

Yesterday began the MFSHOW WOMEN in the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace . It is one of my favorite places in Madrid and a great space for big events like this. It is a covered patio area that allows you to see the shows with natural light. They started with the proposals of the ESNE students. As always the shows the the School of Design prepairs are amazing. It's super special to enjoy it knowing that is done by students. Everything follows the same line and the same subject led by Juan Duyos, but each one of them brings his vision and his proposal. It is very interesting also to see the show by the students and then the other ones by some established designers. Also this morning I was at the first makeup show. Maybelline presented its proposals on the runway and it was beautiful to see how the clothes suddenly ceased to be the lead. There was simple poposals and also some risky ones, as you will see in the photos. False huge eyelashes, butterflies in the face etc.
