DAY TRIP | GARDEN FOUNTAINS. LA GRANJA

El fin de semana fui con Miki y su grupo de amigos a La Granja de San Ildefonso con la excusa de que no habíamos celebrado todavía su cumpleaños todos juntos. Normalmente vamos de viaje a otra ciudad, salimos y hacemos algo de turismo, pero este  año no hemos podido, y fuimos de excursión en el día. Casi todos los inviernos visito La Granja y los jardines del palacio pero nunca había ido en primavera. Me habían hablado muy bien de las fuentes encendidas, siempre que iba estaban apagadas, solo se encienden con el buen tiempo y durante un rato. Me impresionó muchísimo, no pensé que fuese tan espectacular ver encender y apagar las fuentes del jardín. Hacen unos juegos con el agua preciosos y son muy potentes, Me encantó, fue mucho mejor de lo que me esperaba. Luego estuvimos comiendo en un restaurante y vimos el pueblo. Es una excursión preciosa para hacer y está muy cerca de Madrid, muy recomendable en cualquier época del año. La única pega es que comer allí en fin de semana es caro y además si las fuentes se encienden hay que pagar para entrara al jardín. Yo había ido alguna vez entre semana y la entrada a los jardines (con las fuentes apagadas) era gratuita y el menú del día salía muy bien de precio, pero en si vas en fin de semana no sale muy barato. Pero hay que ir! merece la pena.

This weekend I went with Miki and his friends to La Granja de San Ildefonso cause we had not celebrated his birthday together yet. We use to go to another city the weekend as celebration, we go out and do some sightseeing, but this year was impossible, so we decided to make a day trip. I visit La granja and the palace gardens every winter but had never been in spring time. I've heard about the garden fountains sever times but  whenever I went were off, they only turn them on with good weather and just for a while. I was very impressed, I did not think it was that spectacular. The ater made cool games in the air  very powerfully, I loved it , it was much better than I expected. Then we were having lunch in a restaurant and saw the village. It is a beautiful day trip to make and is very close to Madrid, I highly recommended it in any season. The only drawback is that going on weekend is expensive, and also, if the fountains are on there is a fee to enter the garden. I had gone once midweek and the entrance to the gardens (fountains off) was free and the day menu was really cheap, but if you go on a weekend it is not. Even thoughworth visiting!
