DAYS IN MARBELLA

Este año ha tenido muchas emociones y no ha sido muy bueno, llegamos al final del 2019 con ganas de que se terminara para empezar con nuevas energías. Por eso decidimos darnos unos días de descanso entre Navidad y Fin de Año . Como el año pasado quisimos compartir unos días en un destino de playa y buen tiempo con nuestros amigos Sil y Dan. El año pasado fue Los Ángeles y este año un poco más cerca, Marbella.

Encontramos una casa de alquiler espectacular en una urbanización muy tranquila y nueva y decidimos pasar unos días de descanso total allí y fue una decisión muy acertada.

Yo lo único que conocía de Málaga era Marbella y esta vez, a parte del centro de Marbella que me parece una monada, hemos aprovechado para visitar Ronda y la ciudad de Málaga.

Teníamos un plan muy relax, algo que necesitábamos. Nos levantábamos, algo de deporte, desayunos largos en la terraza y luego nos íbamos a ver cosas. Los atardeceres en Marbella son espectaculares y he descubierto varios sitios TOP para comer o tomar algo. Cuando se ponía el sol volvíamos a casa a descansar, cena y Netflix.

Lo he disfrutado muchísimo y lo hemos pasado super bien.

This year has had many emotions and has not been a good year, we arrived at the end of 2019 wanted to finish it and start the 2020 with new energy. That's why we decided to take a few days off between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Like last year we wanted to share a few days in a beach destination and good weather with our friends Sil and Dan. Last year we went to Los Angeles and this year a bit closer, Marbella.

We found a spectacular rental house in a very quiet condo and decided to spend a few days of total relaxation there, and it was a very good decision.

The only thing I knew about Málaga was Marbella and this time, apart from the centre of Marbella which I think is lovely, we took the opportunity to visit Ronda and the city of Málaga.

We had a very relaxing plan, something that we needed. We got up, did some work out, had a long breakfast on the terrace and then went to visit new places. The sunsets in Marbella are spectacular and I found some TOP places to eat or drink that you should know. When the sun went down we would go home to rest, have dinner and watch some Netflix.

I enjoyed it very much and we had a great time.

LA CASA

Queríamos un alojamiento especial, un sitio donde estuviésemos cómodos y nos apeteciera pasar tiempo juntos. Al ser invierno el sol se pone pronto y queríamos volver a casa y disfrutar de cenas juntos y pelis. Encontramos esta pasada de casa en Airbnb que se alquilaba por días y era espectacular y con un porche y un jardín precioso. Al ser temporada baja tampoco fue muy cara. Nos encantó, aunque para ser una casa de alquiler no venia equipad con cosas básicas.

El salón era gigante y la tele a corte con él, a sí que para las noches de cine era perfecta. El porche tenia una mesa y una zona de sofás para relajarse y para desayunos al sol.

Marbella tiene un centro precioso y en cuanto te sales del centro hay poca cosa. Me encanta recorrerme las callecitas y el paseo marítimo. 

🍽️ En pleno centro descubrimos un restaurante que nos encantó, Altamirano, es de comida típica y comimos super bien.

MARBELLA 

Marbella has a beautiful old town and as soon as you leave the centre there is little to go on. I love walking the streets and the promenade by the sea. 

🍽️ In the middle of the old town we tried a restaurant that we loved, Altamirano, it is a typical food restaurant, we ate very well, you should visit it.

🍽️ En la playa también nos encantó Trocadero, donde comimos un arroz espectacular. Tiene unas vistas preciosas al mar y el sitio en el interior es muy acogedor.

🍽️ On the beach we also loved Trocadero, where we ate some spectacular rice. It has beautiful views of the sea and the place indoors is very cozy.

Visitamos Puente Romano, un hotel que parece un pueblecito andaluz que tiene un montón de restaurantes preciosos en el complejo. 

☕️ Estuvimos tomando café en Seagrill, con vistas al mar donde vimos el atardecer. Es un sitio con una decoración exquisita y muy agradable, tienen como varias zonas de sofás, tipo saloncitos donde tomar café que me encantaron.

We visited Puente Romano, a hotel that looks like an Andalusian village with a lot of beautiful restaurants in the complex. 

☕️ We were having coffee at Seagrill, overlooking the sea where we saw the sunset. It is a place with an exquisite and very nice decoration, they have like several lounge areas where to take coffee that I loved.

RONDA

Un día fuimos de excursión a Ronda. Está en el interior y se tarda como una hora en llegar por una carretera llena de curvas donde me maree la ida y la vuelta pero que es preciosa. El pueblo está en el alto de un tajo y las vistas son espectaculares. En una de las plazas hay balcones sobre el tajo con unas vistas preciosas y el puente es una maravilla.

Pasamos un día genial conociendo el pueblecito, comimos en un sitio random del centro, que no merece la pena recomendar y tomamos el café al sol hasta el atardecer, ¿puede haber algo que me gusta más?

RONDA

One day we went on an daytrip to Ronda. It is in the interior and it takes about an hour to get there on a road full of curves where I got dizzy going and coming back but it is beautiful. The village is at the top of a kind of mountain and the views are spectacular. In one of the squares there are balconies overlooking the gorge, and also the bridge is a marvelous.

We spent a great day visiting the village, we had lunch at a random place in the centre, which is not worth recommending, and had coffee in the sun until sunset, could there be anything I like better?

MÁLAGA

Cuando llegamos a la ciudad de Málaga pensé que no me gustaría...los alrededores no me parecieron nada atractivos, pero en cuento entramos en la zona del centro histórico me enamoré. Las calles son ideales y tiene miles de sitios preciosos para comer o tomar algo. Me encantó el ambiente que había, la calle Larios tenía las famosas luces de navidad que son super bonitas y la zona del puerto fue uno de mis sitios favoritos. Me pareció una ciudad ideal y me encantaría volver a visitarlas más tranquilamente porque me faltó mucho por ver.

🍽 Para comer os recomiendo El Clandestino, comimos super bien y a muy buen precio. El sitio es muy acogedor. Intentamos comer en sitios típicos que me habíais recomendado pero las colas eran infinitas. Dan conocía este restaurante donde conseguimos mesa y nos encantó.

MÁLAGA

When we arrived in the city of Malaga I thought that I would not like it... the surroundings did not seem attractive to me, but as soon as we entered the area of the historical center I fell in love. The streets are cute and there are thousands of beautiful places to eat or drink. I loved the atmosphere, Larios Street had the famous Christmas lights that are super cool and the port area was one of my favorite places. I thought it was an ideal city and I would love to visit it again more peacefully because there was so much to see.

🍽 I recommend El Clandestino to eat, we had a super nice lunch and and a very good price. Also the place is very cozy. We tried to eat in typical places that you had recommended but the line to get the table was endless. Dan knew this restaurant where we got a table and we loved it.
