A SUMMER I’LL NEVER FORGET

Este verano para mí ha sido igual que los demás pero completamente diferente. 

A Miki y a mí nos encanta viajar pero en agosto, cuando tenemos vacaciones de verano, nos gusta parar y pasar esos días en el norte de España. Solemos dejar los viajes al extranjero para primavera y otoño 

Este año hemos hecho lo mismo, unos días en la casa de Galicia y otros días en mi pueblo en Asturias, le enorme diferencia ha sido que lo hemos disfrutado el triple y que además hemos terminado el verano viajando a Fuerteventura, quizás por el ansia de conocer algo nuevo y de volver a subir a un avión, que aunque me da mucho respeto, a la vez me emociona después de estos meses en casa.

En Galicia he disfrutado al máximo, creo que a todos nos ha pasado lo mismo, simplemente el hecho de poder salir de la ciudad, estar en contacto con el mar, sentir el sol en la piel, disfrutar del tiempo con amigos y familia...cosas que antes, aunque también las disfrutábamos, no considerábamos, quizás, un lujo.

También he decidido hacer una guía de Galicia y de Asturias, además de todo lo que hemos visto en Fuerteventura, porque cada año descubro, o me descubren, algún sitio nuevo para ir de excursión, una playa de las de no querer pestañear para no perderte un solo minuto y sitios donde comer. 

En los dos sitios se come súper bien. En realidad en cuanto sales de Madrid sueles encontrar sitios donde comer bien con más facilidad y a mejor precio, pero me atrevería a decir que en Galicia es más probable que encuentres sitios corrientes con una cocina auténtica y de primera calidad. Asturias en cierto modo está más explotado y aunque la cocina es fantástica hay sitios más “de batalla”.

Voy a hacer una guía de mis sitios favoritos de la provincia de A Coruña, que es la zona que más conozco y además en el próximo post os dejo todo el viaje a Fuerteventura, que aunque he estado varias veces no he recorrido mucho la isla porque iba a pasar el fin de año con mis padres y sus amigos.

Espero que, a pesar de todo, hayáis pasado un verano diferente, inolvidable y maravilloso.

This summer for me has been the same as the others but completely different.
Miki and I love to travel but in August, when we have summer vacation, we like to stop and spend those days in the north of Spain. We usually leave trips abroad for spring and fall.
This year we have done the same, a few days in the house in Galicia and other days in my village in Asturias, the enormous difference has been that we have enjoyed it three times as much and that we have also ended the summer traveling to Fuerteventura, perhaps due to the desire to to know something new and to get on a plane again, which, although it gives me a lot of respect, at the same time excites me after these months at home.

This year in Galicia I have enjoyed the most, I think the same thing has happened to all of us, the fact of being able to leave the city, be in contact with the sea, feel the sun on your skin, enjoy time with friends and family. ... things that before, although we also enjoyed them, we did not consider, perhaps, a luxury.

Also I have decided to make a guide to Galicia and Asturias, in addition to everything we have seen in Fuerteventura, because every year I discover, or someone discovers me, a new place to go on an day trip, a speechless beach and delicious places to eat.
In both places food is super quality. Actually, as soon as you leave Madrid, you usually find places to eat well more easily and at a better price, but I would dare to say that in Galicia you are more likely to find ordinary places with authentic and top-quality cuisine. Asturias in a way is more exploited and although the cuisine is fantastic there are more random  places.

I am going to make a guide to my favorite places in the province of A Coruña, which is the area I know the most and also in the next post I leave you the whole trip to Fuerteventura, although I have been several times I have not traveled the island much because I was going to spend the end of the year with my parents and their friends.
